Marine education is now more important than ever as we race against time to save our environment, oceans and marine life from the pollution and other harmful human activities that continue to destroy this once pristine part of our world. We encourage you and your family to come along to learn more about the sport of scuba diving and how the whole family can get involved in ocean conservation.

Brendon Sing and Liz Ward-Sing

Brendon and Liz are the Directors of Shark Guardian – a UK Charity for Shark and Marine Conservation Worldwide. Together they have over 20 years of shark diving and research experience. Shark Guardian directors and members engage in shark and marine conservation campaigns, give educational shark presentations, develop educational materials, contribute to shark research projects and lead shark diving expeditions worldwide.

Monica Chin

Exposed to the ocean since young, Chin is and avid scuba diver diving for 19 years. After 2 years massively volunteering with Trash Hero Borneo, now she set herself from onto a bigger platform-Marine & Environmental Research, Education & Conservation Centre at Dinawan Island. As an influential Women Diver in North Borneo and conservationist, she wants to inspire more people raise awareness to protect the underwater world and educate the young generation. She quoted Ocean is not our Garbage Bin!

Neil Davidson

PADI’s Regional Manager for Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei  

PADI’s Regional Manager for Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei, originally from Liverpool, England has been involved in scuba diving industry for last 8 years. He first fell in love with diving while travelling Australia after leaving his previous job in the British Military. He then moved to Koh Tao, Thailand to become a scuba diving professional and follow his passion. He eventually became manager of a very successful PADI 5 Star CDC Centre on the island. After enjoying many years on the Island Neil decided to move on for a new challenge and took up the role with PADI in March 2019 and is now based in KL. When not helping the PADI members and divers in and around the region Neil likes to relax with his family or watch Liverpool’s latest football game.
